SPRANG BREAK!

Hi friends! Happy Spring Break! We don't usually go on a Spring Break trip as a family since my brothers typically have baseball, but I really wanted to go somewhere since this is my "last" spring break (lol how that makes me sound like I won't have spring break anymore). My mom did a ton of research and finally decided on Vegas! We left the first Saturday and came home on Tuesday. It was the perfect length to fully experience the city, plus now I have a few days to be productive at home before going back for my last six (AHHH!) weeks of high school!

I wanted to share a few tips about traveling to Vegas as a teenager.

1. First, wear comfortable shoes. Take my word for it. I wanted to dress semi-fashionable and wore a brand new pair of sandals on the plane on the way there. We ended up having to wait about three hours before we got into our room and just walked around that whole time. I had massive blisters on my feet for the remainder of the trip. I really wish I would've worn my Birkenstocks the whole time!

2. Bring a lightweight water bottle. I was constantly thirsty, and a bottle of water was usually around $7.

3. Ignore people. This sounds incredibly rude, but while walking on the Strip, people are constantly trying to hand you advertisements or get you to come to their attractions. Just walk away (enter dramatic Vanessa Hudgens moment).

4. Do your research. There are a ton of things you can do even if you're under age. I would recommend putting together a rough schedule before your trip just so you can be sure to get in all the things you want to!

Now for the photos!

 Selfie with the Eiffel Tower!
The view from our room. We stayed in the Paris hotel.
Plane outfit: Shirt: Local store / Jeans: Nordstrom / Shoes: Franco Sarto / Bag: J.Crew Factory / Watch: Kate Spade / Sunglasses: Nordstrom
Shirt and Necklace: Local Store / Jeans: Joe's / Shoes: Target / Bag: J.Crew Factory
 Fountains at the Bellagio
 Eiffel Tower at night
 Ceilings in the Venetian hotel
View from the balcony at the Venetian-they even had gondola rides

Y'all, it is REAL hard to get a decent photo because of people constantly walking in front of you. This was probably the best one I got the whole trip-in front of Caesar's Palace!
Dinner with mom at Serendipity 3

Day 2 Outfit: Dress: Local store / Shoes: Target
Can you tell I was digging the Eiffel Tower?
Definitely eat at Mon Ami Gabi-probably one of the best meals I've ever had!

We went to the Cirque du Soleil show "O" at the Bellagio. What I'm wearing: Dress: Free People / Shoes: Nordstrom / Watch: Kate Spade

In front of the Bellagio selfie

Day 3: Top: Local Boutique / Shorts: J.Crew Factory / Necklace: Kendra Scott / Shoes: Target / Bracelets: BaubleBar

I forgot to take a mirror pic, but what I'm wearing: Top: Nordstrom / Jeans: Joe's / Shoes: Franco Sarto

We ate at Carmine's inside Caesar's Palace-definitely recommend!

The only Insta from the whole trip-follow @abstergailll :)))
Casino in the lobby of our hotel
We ate breakfast at this cute little French place again.
We had a few hours to kill before our flight home, so we walked down to the other end of the trip and saw the New York, New York hotel and the Coke and M&M stores.
Outfit: T-Shirt: Nordstrom / Flannel: Gap / Jeans: Nordstrom / Bag: Nordstrom

Wall of M&Ms!

And that's a wrap! I hope y'all are having a great Spring Break!
