Spring Break in Nashvegas!

Hey friends! Hope you're having a great Monday. This one is tough for me---the post-Spring-Break Monday. ugh. Anyway, I wanted to share some fun snaps with y'all today. I went to Nashville with my sorority "big" and 4 other Tri Delts! We had the BEST time. You might remember I went to Nashville this past summer with my friend, Cate--but this trip was a great blend of the highlights of that trip and new adventures. We took a million and one photos, and I was taught the art of perfecting the #grid (that's for you Sarah :)). also side note--I call it Nashvegas because I spent soooo much money (and most of it on food).
We all stayed at my house Saturday night, and I gave them the *grand* tour of the city.

Pre-road trip photo! Self timer was our friend on this trip.

On the road!! We stopped in Memphis for lunch--would definitely recommend Central BBQ.
Quick snap of Broadway Street @ night---we were greeted by a police-involved fist fight.
We went to Wildhorse Saloon for dinner and dancing. It was a Sunday night, so there weren't very many other people there, but we still had the best time.

Meet Remington!!
#6girls1bathroom!! That was our hashtag for the week....we stayed in an Air BnB that only had one bathroom...it really wasn't bad at all.

And that was day 1!

Day 2 started out at arguably my favorite restaurant in Nashville--Biscuit Love. 10/10 would recommend. GET THE BONUTS.

Next were some pics at one of Nashville's famous walls. This one is in The Gulch for those wondering!

Then, we ventured to the 12 South district. This area was our group's absolute fav--made clear by the fact we visited every day of our trip. Here is a snap @ Draper James-Reese Witherspoon's fabulous shop.

Necessary photo with the flower truck.
afternoon snack at Jeni's ice cream. They sell it at Whole Foods (for $12 a pint!).

Casual pics on 12 South! This is my big, Emily. She loves the Razorbacks and the #local scene. ;)
Our big activity for day 1 was bowling @ Pinewood Social. This place is soooo cool--they have a restaurant/coffee area in the front, and the back is a retro bowling alley. Would be so fun @ night with drinks for a bachelorette party!

Later that day, we went back to our little cabin in the woods to rest and watch some OTH. It was storming that night and we were all a little exhausted, so we opted for dinner at the local Chili's and a cookie log. **side note--do not ever look up how many calories are in a cookie log. It will make you sad.

Day 2!!! We didn't take a ton of photos this day, mainly due to rain.

But....we had a fabulous time at the Country Music Hall of Fame!

Just some pics for memz here...above is the lyrics sheet to "Days Go By" by Keith Urban, and below is THE dress that T. Swift wore in the "Love Story" video.

 "recording" in the studio

We then took a journey over to the east side...wasn't much for us there. But they did have this sign.
Next, we ventured back over to 12 South where we devoured $35 worth of guacamole at Bartaco and some bomb doughnuts from Five Daughters.
That night was probably one of my favorite parts of the trip. We went to "In the Round" night at the Bluebird Cafe--where T.Swift was discovered! Four musicians sat in the middle of the restaurant with their guitars, just singing and telling stories about their songs and all the people they've met. Y'all, they were GRAMMY WINNERS. (and one of the them was from AR!) It was just so neat to hear about their lives, why they wrote different songs, and the famous people they've written for. I would definitely recommend this for country music lovers!

For our last day, we adopted the #lastdaybestday philosophy, starting out with brunch at Pancake Pantry.

 yas.

After a little shopping around the Hillsboro district, we traveled back to 12 South. Again, our fav.
 Lattes @ Frothy Monkey

We really wanted great photos on this bridge, so we decided to go at sunset.

 my girl Rem
my big!!!! love her to pieces. we also share a love of cadbury eggs--probably what makes us such a great pair.

And then---grand finale! KARAOKE. The one bummer thing about going to Nashville is that you can't really get into many dancing places/bars under 21. But, we found a gem @ Lonnie's! We actually met some girls there from U of A, funny enough. Those who know me well are probably v confused as to why I'm on that stage, but when in Nashville...

And that's a wrap! Here was our cute little cabin in the woods.
Thanks for reading through this long post! I'm posting a day early because I'm taking a break from social media starting tomorrow, but wanted to advertise this post!

Have a great week!
